second hole second try - 08:00 AM
today's the day! woo hoo! i'm leaving to pick up a friend & her guy soon & then we get some holes poked in ourselves! now is that a fun day or is that a fun day???
i guess afterwards we'll stop by a 7-11 or two & seek out some slurpees to keep the swelling down. over the next few days it's gonna be very difficult to eat anything with much substance. ooh! that reminds me .. i have to make sure i eat a decent breakfast. phew! glad i remembered that .. by this time tomorrow i'm going to be very hungry!
later the same day ..
woo hoo!! it's done .. & it's very sore. i can't speak very well either. i'm not talking a lot at all in fact, which my man's pretty happy about (he told me to write that 
) & is pretty amazing anyway!
it looks a tiny bit crooked (in defence of the piercer, i have a very short tongue, difficult to pierce a second time) but i'll hold my judgement until the swelling has gone down & i can put some shorter barbells in them both. that'll be in a week or two. not long to wait. if it is a bit too off-centre then i'll give it one more try. if it's not right then i guess it's not meant to be.
my friend who came with me to have her tongue done a second time, well, her piercing looks very special. perfect. she has a longer tongue & it looks pretty legendary. can't wait to see it when she downsizes!
