i've had a good day today. started out kind of bad. i was feeling pretty crappy about being such a procrastinator. i was to do my system administration exam last friday but i wasn't ready so i'd planned to put it off until tomorrow. yesterday though, i was going nowhere with my study & i still hadn't learned anything so i'm going to concentrate instead on doing my next exam which has a time limit. i had to be booked in for it by the sunday before last & i have to complete it (& pass it obviously) by the 5th of march. so i've given up system admin as a bad joke for this week & instead i'll make sure i pass this next one. it's been booked for this friday. then .. system admin here i come!
i actually did study today. i'm sick of putting it off so if i just knuckle down & study then it'll be all done & i can start looking for a job. i'm going to have to get myself a pretty suit so that i don't look like a derro when i go to interviews. a nice suit, probably black, wide-leg hipster pants & a fitted jacket that i can wear fitted baby-tee style tops under (bugger wearing collared shirts .. i hate ironing!). i'll get some really cool chunky black shoes, too. maybe doc martens, not the boots but the shoe style. dunno .. i'll have to have a look around. i can look business-like & still be funky! that's one of the advantages of being a girl.
