surprise piercing! i went to 'puncture piercing' today hoping to get some jewellery instead of the piercing they owed me from the original try for the second tongue piercing (got that?), but the guy said no, only another piercing. i hadn't planned on any new ones for a little while but since this was the deal i decided to get my daith done then & there. i got nervous then because i hadn't mentally prepared myself for a piercing, but i was okay by the time i sat in the chair & took a few deep breaths.
it hurt. not heaps like my belly button, probably comparable to my scaffold, but there was more mucking around because it's such a little space to get into. doesn't hurt at all now though. got a 16 gauge tiny captive bead ring in it. he did a good job, it looks great. another cartilage piercing that'll take forever to heal but there you go. at least it's tucked away in the ear so it'll be pretty difficult to knock around.
