alien blood worm - 08:15 AM
well, my friends .. it's over. it seems i'm destined to have only one tongue piercing. as i sit here i have two holes in my tongue, but only one has a barbell through it.
(i hope you're not eating as you're reading this .. it gets pretty descriptive from here on in.)
i've never seen anything like it .. i woke up this morning with my tongue feeling just as sore as it was yesterday & the day before. i went to the bathroom & looked in the mirror at my tongue & there was this huge clot of blood all over the second piercing. so i figured it had just been bleeding a bit since i started to wake up. i rinsed my mouth out & looked again but it was still there .. in fact, it looked like some gross, alien worm that had wrapped itself around the top of the barbell. so gross!!
it had been quite painful from the beginning (i'm no wimp about this, remember. i've had my tongue stabbed seven times in the name of art) & very uncomfortable because the bottom, under my tongue, was really close to the front, so in my mind i went again over all the thoughts that i'd been having in the preceding forty-three hours & decided the best course of action was to take the barbell out. so i screwed one of the balls off & took it out ..
.. but the awful blood-clot abomination was still hanging out of the top wound, even with the barbell out! it was all long & gooey & just kind of stretched itself out when i tried to remove it with a cotton bud, so i ended up grabbing it with my fingers & pulling it, but it kept snapping so i had to pull at shorter & shorter pieces of it. every time i grabbed it i could feel it pulling on my tongue & it was really starting to gross me out. finally i got it all but i had to keep rinsing & rinsing because it wouldn't stop bleeding, just kept pooling up on my tongue. it bled for about fifteen minutes.
okay, that's the end of the yucky bit .. you can stop shuddering now. i know i was.
anyway, it's all rather sad, really. i'm mourning the loss of my original tongue piercing. i got used to playing with it in the original positioning & the one successful piercing that i got out of all this is a little further back than the first one so it's different to play with. i'm sure that anyone who has a tongue piercing would be able to relate to this.
at least i still have one tongue piercing, even if it's not the one i started out with.

I WANNA ASK A QUESTION. I HAVE A TONGUE RING 2 DAYS AFTER THE PIERCINGS I HAD A BLOOD CLOT NEXT TO MY WOUND WHAT DO I DO? LEAVE MY TONGUE RING IN AND LLET THE BLOOD CLOT POP OR TAKE THE TONGUE RING OUT? ASAP ANSWER ME PLZ
