i finally got my septum retainer today!! i got a dark coloured one. it's excellent .. you wouldn't have a clue it's there & even if you look hard, right up my nostrils, it's not easy to see.
i can breathe through my nose a little better than when i wear the the circular barbell. when it was turned up into my nose the balls kind of blocked some of the air. with the retainer i can hardly tell it's there except for the weight of it. it's funny really, the jewellery probably weighs just over a gram, but when i take it out i can feel the difference. it must be something that you just get used to i suppose.
