got my first rejection letter. i was pretty sure that i wouldn't get that job anyway, although i would have loved to have worked there. oh well.
in the meantime while i'm looking for work as an application developer i'm going to see if i can find a job locally to keep me going. nothing special, just work at the local servo or something i think. any money is good money.
to occupy my time i'm also going to make sure to practise the stuff i learned so that i don't forget it all by the time i find a job. i'm pretty scared about it anyway, being out there all on my own, so if i keep it all fresh in my brain it'll help me to feel a little more confident.
