shock to the system - 06:45 PM
well, that's my first week of work over. one more week of work experience & then it's looking pretty good that i'll be earning myself a bit of money. woo hoo! it's been a good week, tiring, but good.
going back to work after all this time has been a bit of a shock to the system. getting up early, sitting in traffic, being away all day .. exhausting but it's great to be a functioning member of society again. the only thing that i don't enjoy about being back at work is being away from my sweet man all day. i miss him a lot. i used to be able to spend all day, every day with him but now i only get to see him (during waking hours that is) for about half an hour in the morning & then a few hours at night. we'll treasure our weekends.
