anybody watch that show 'star struck'? i was vegging in front of the tv just then & that show was on. there was a group called '3rd above' - i know them! when i was singing, the guy that was my duo partner knew those guys (they didn't have the sister singing with them regularly then & were called 'face2face') & we used to watch them sing every now & then. i made a demo cd of my singing at their house. they sounded really good. both the girls have the most excellent voices, much better than mine. it's good to see them moving along & writing their own stuff.
sometimes i'd really love to be singing again, but i don't have a passion for it like i used to. i still love to sing as often as possible though, but i just know that i could never go back to singing covers in pubs. it's such a soul destroying experience. my sweet man plays the piano so i'd love to do some gigs with him one day doing some cool jazz & some ballads. that'd be excellent fun.
