my site's moved again. now i hope that everybody who's been visiting my site regularly has been using the right address to find me. if you haven't then it's too late anyway, you won't be able to read this because you'll be at the old address. if you want always to be able to find me, make sure you only ever use this address: http://ferrousangel.cjb.net. it's a forwarding url so whenever my site moves, i just change the address at the one place & everyone can still find me. it's pretty much a given that i'll get my own domain name one day & when i do it'll probably be www.ferrousland.com, so now that you all know way in advance, you can get used to it for when it actually happens. how cool would it be to have my own domain name?? yeehaaa!
on a more sober note, my mate mungbean is looking for work again. unfortunately, the people she worked for wanted someone 'more mature' (insert childish, mocking voice), so they let her go before the end of her three month probation .. bastards!! she actually may not look for work. she's trying to decide whether she should study something instead, you know, increase job prospects & that sort of thing. it's very difficult to live on one wage these days though. anyway, everybody please wish her luck in whatever she decides & send her some happy thoughts.
did everyone see the new things on the front page? i added some cool quotes by famous people (i'm assuming they're all famous, some of them i've never heard of) that fade in & out as they change. it's pretty cool. sorry netscape people, it only works in internet explorer. there's a link in the box where the quotes are & also in the 'things to do here' menu for the 'browserly-challenged' to go to a separate page where all the quotes are listed together (note: not anymore, the newest site design is for up to date browsers). i also added a really excellent picture of a mushroom where i have a spiel about my sweet man's site. so see if you can guess who made the picture??? yes .. it was me! turned out pretty good i think. last, but not least, i got myself a message board so that you, my visitors, can interact a little bit with myself & other visitors. i rarely get email from any of you (i know you're out there!!!) so maybe this will encourage you to have a say. feel free to comment, ask questions, (constructively) criticise, or just chat with me & whoever else posts messages there.
