new engine - 04:50 PM
well after a solid couple of hours of being in a bad mood with my sweetheart last night he goes & spoils it by giving me the sweetest hug. he really is wonderful. i can't stay mad at him for long.
my little gemini is now a five speed. about six months ago we sold my previous gemini to the guy next door in exchange for him fixing the front panel on my honey's celica. turns out there was too much rust in it for him to re-sell it so he was planning to wreck it. if you've been reading past diary entries you'll know that we've had a few car troubles lately. my newest gemini blew up about a month ago, so we got the minimum amount of work done on it, just to get it functional. our next door neighbour, barry, suggested that he could drop the old gemini's engine straight into the new one with no trouble at all. the old gem's engine was less than three years old so now my little gemmy is going like a pearler! this guy barry has been playing with engines since he was about nine years old & just loves it. to him it's like playing. he did a fantastic job. i'm no expert when it comes to cars but i know that it feels a whole lot better than the other one.
