i can hardly believe that it's august already. it seemed like just a few weeks ago that everybody was going on about this y2k hooh-haa .. & what a let-down that was. 
my weekend (which is sunday, monday, tuesday, since i work on saturdays) has gone by so quickly. i feel almost as though i haven't had a day off. you do a bit of shopping here & a bit of gardening there & suddenly it's time to go back to work again. oh well, at least i get paid.
