possible job not an option - 06:45 PM
the job thing i mentioned in yesterday's entry is a no go-er. we communicated over approximately six emails to try to make a date for an interview but each email i got from them was completely uncommunicative. when i suggested monday, the guy emailed me back to say that thursday was fine. huh??? i figured there was a miscommunication so i confirmed that i said monday & asked "is monday okay?" the return email was simply one word: "no". i'm serious!! can you believe that? what sort of people write emails like that while transacting business?? i mean, there was no suggestion of another day or an explanation or anything! geeez!!
anyway, i wrote back asking what day would be suitable & the reply was that thursday was the last day, as he'd indicated. what???.. he'd indicated no such bloody thing!! he'd indicated nothing at all through any of his flamin' emails!! the guy wouldn't know how to communicate if he was given a freakin' instruction manual that said "how to communicate". no wonder my cousin didn't want to work there anymore. i'm glad that it didn't work out.
as one of my online friends said, it's amazing that they can run a successful business when they can't even communicate with a prospective employee. sheesh!!
