knock yourself out - 06:00 PM
i tried to knock myself out today .. really!
this is what happened .. i was at work. i was counting the money in the cash register to do an end of shift reconciliation. i dropped a five cent coin & so i bent down to pick it up. there were two empty milk crates behind me, one stacked on the other, pushed up against the cupboard. as i bent down to pick up the coin, my bum hit the crates & (because my bum is bouncy) my whole body was propelled foward & my head smacked into the edge of the counter. i'm sure there was an audible sound. it really hurt my head, but my pride was hurt worse because there were two local kids standing at the other side of the counter, ready to buy stuff. how embarrassing!
