weight loss - 02:55 PM
well today i did something that i've never done before. i went in search of weight loss! okay, okay, i know that some of you are saying, "but you don't need to lose weight!" but you haven't seen the view of my belly that i get from my angle! i know that i'm not 'fat' in any sense, i'm simply a little over the weight that i'd like to be. i don't really like it when people call others 'fat' anyway, people should be happy with whatever they are no matter what form that takes & as long as it's not a health issue then it's really not anyone else's business. okay, i'm off my hobby horse now.
so, as i was saying, i used to weigh forty-five kilos since i was about twenty i guess. i put on some weight when i was cleaning houses & doing six dance classes a week but that was muscle. it took my dance teachers to tell me that too! i was all very worried. you see, i'd never had to worry about what i ate & i'd never weighed anything over forty-five kilos so i had no idea what was happening. they asked me if my clothes were fitting any differently & when i thought about it i realised that they fitted the same as they always had. so since i've stopped cleaning houses (it's surprising how much exercise that gives you, you never stop moving, see?) & i don't do the dance classes anymore i've put on a few kilos. i now weigh fifty-six kilos which isn't a lot but since i have such a little frame, it doesn't sit well on me.
my clothes aren't fitting terribly well anymore. some of them look downright awful on me! i have to undo the top button of my jeans when i'm sitting. the trousers that used to hang loose on my hips now fit quite snugly thank you very much. i would like to feel more comfortable in my skin again.
i looked around at a few different weight loss 'schemes' & i've decided on one where they deliver the food for the week to your door. all you have to provide is low fat milk & drinks. i figure that by eating their low fat food, i'll get into the habit of eating healthy food, then i can wean myself off the food they bring & start to cook & eat my own healthy food.
i only want to lose about six kilos. i believe that it's not realistic to think that i'll ever be forty-five kilos again. you know how you can see a man in his early twenties & then again in his early thirties & he'll look much more solid? well, i think that women's bodies do a similar kind of thing & that my 'grown up' body is about fifty kilos. my first delivery of food arrives tomorrow so i'll be starting on it on thursday. wish me luck!
