college's crossing - 05:00 PM
we just came back from taking the dog to college's crossing. they've built a big recreation area around where the river goes through a hilly section & they've done quite a good job. on almost any weekend (in fine weather) you'll find quite a few people there. across the river from the park there's someone's land where you can often see cows lying around or eating grass. it's a really nice place.
mcgarnicle did a little bit of running around but was actually a pretty good boy. he came back straight away most times when we called him. we kind of lounged around on a towel each for a bit, very relaxing. the dog was lying down with us & shroom was teasing him by tickling the hair between his toes .. it's so fun to hassle the dog! he found another dog to play with & used up a lot of energy, so now he's all tuckered out on the floor.
