skirt is fixed - 10:00 PM
on friday afternoon i went back to the tailor's to pick up my skirt that they massacred with a great ugly topstitched hem. thankfully, they fixed it up so it looks just the way it should have. last night i put my new outfit on to show my sweet man. he likes it a lot. 
if you were lucky enough to be watching the cams at the time you might have got a peek, too. i can't wait to wear it on the cruise.
speaking of which, i've failed to mention, the many times that i've spoken of the cruise, exactly where it's going. it'll be going up to cairns (north queensland) & back. i've never been to cairns before. my sister & her hubby went there for their honeymoon. they thought it was pretty nice.
there seem to be so many things that i still have to do before i leave. maybe it's not as many as i think. perhaps i'm just a bit nervous & excited about it. i haven't started packing yet. i'll do that tomorrow. shouldn't have to pack too much, i generally travel pretty light anyway. just have to make sure that i don't forget any of the essentials. i imagine that anything bought on board the ship will be quite expensive.
