it's not an 'it' - 07:45 AM
we've given the baby a prenatal name. i really don't like referring to the babe as an 'it'. i mean, it's not an 'it', it's a boy or a girl, we just don't know which one yet. actually, from what i've read it may not have fully developed into a boy or a girl yet, but it knows what it's going to be, so i still don't like referring to the bub as an 'it'.
when i stopped taking the pill six months ago, we talked about what sort of names we'd like to choose for a child. shroom was being silly & suggested 'rudegere' (pronounced rude-ah-gear). i laughed, of course. then i said, "what if it's a girl?" & he said, "rudegerette".
i'm assuming that we'll have a boy. i'd like to have a girl, but the chances aren't very high since shroom's family pretty much only makes boys. he comes from a family of three boys. so we've been referring to the baby as rudegere. poor kid. *chuckle* just as well we won't really call him that.
so anyway, rudegere's been taking all my calcium. i can tell because my nails have started to become really crappy. time to increase my calcium intake to make sure that he gets everything he needs. well, he'll get everything he needs from me anyway, but i guess i have to make sure that i have all the extra nutrients i need. i don't want my body to suffer any malnutrition. healthy mum makes a healthy baby.
speaking of nutrients .. rudegere's hungry. i'd better go & eat some breakfast.
