movement at the station - 05:06 PM

after not feeling any movements for a while, such as the initial barely discernible flutters i felt a few weeks ago, last night i felt definite movement.

rudegere was really rolling around in there. he must have been doing somersaults or something, because at one stage, i happened to have my hand on my belly & one kick was hard enough to feel against my hand! i doubt it would have been able to be seen on the outside, but i could definitely feel a decently solid thump against my hand. well, decently solid for a small baby trapped inside a uterus, anyway. *chuckle*

just now, i was sitting here catching up on past history at the toxic custard diary when i felt some more movements. mostly a kind of gentle rolling around feeling on the inside, down low, but i felt one good thump again just to the right of my bellybutton. actually, that's where he got me last night, too. he must like that spot. maye he's lying sideways & is desperately kicking at the walls, trying to escape. probably wondering why the walls just keep bouncing back.

i'm surprised i'm feeling this much at this relatively early stage. i've been told that this is about the time you feel movement, but i just figured it would be less obvious than what i'm feeling.

heehee! i can feel more right now as i'm typing! oh man .. what a strange & amazing sensation. it's almost like when you've had a really big meal & you can feel your stomach working hard, gurgling away, or else if you've just had a large drink & when you move you can feel the liquid sloshing around inside you. it's not exactly like that, but kind of like that. hmm, very difficult to describe.

i'd have to say that it feels like there's a baby in there moving around .. lol! there's nothing else like it, i suppose. *chuckle*
