pregnancy/rudegere updates - 05:04 PM
general pregnancy update:
- i've not been having any morning sickness for about one & a half months now.
- there's no more bloating after eating. (thank goodness!!)
- my feet don't seem to be swelling very much anymore since i started doing aqua aerobics regularly. then again, that could be also be attributed to the cooler weather.
- the only thing bothering me physically is my upper back getting used to carrying rudegere out the front.
- my weight seems to have settled on about 60kgs (about 132 pounds). he must have been having a big growth spurt the past six weeks or so & has now settled down. perhaps the weight will come on more slowly from now on.
- i've been feeling exceptionally well & loving it!
rudegere's habits lately:
- he's more active in the last week or so than he has been since i started to feel him move in the last month.
- he has a kick or two in the morning.
- he stays mostly quiet during the day but kicks a bit sometimes, perhaps after eating but definitely when i have a sugary or caffeinated drink.
- he bumps around in the early afternoon so that i can even see my belly moving.
- he moves around in the early evening, not with lots of kicks, but maybe rolling around & doing somersaults which feels quite odd.
- about five minutes after i lay down to sleep, he has a bit of a kick or two, then settles down.
- when he kicks during the early afternoon, he seems to do it at least five to ten times in the one area before he settles down, then he goes again a few minutes later.

a lady at my office is 2-weeks farther along than you. her husband is 6 ft 8 inches tall. her doc told her the baby doesn't kick her, he knees her because his legs are so long. really cramped up in there i guess.
