enjo rules! - 07:44 PM

my first month as an enjo consultant is almost over & so far i'm very pleased.

i've never done the 'party plan' thing before, although once or twice i did sign up with a certain multi-level marketing company. i'm happy to say that this is nothing like my experiences in the past with those other companies. firstly, it's not multi-level marketing. i'm selling a unique product, not a 'business opportunity'. also, i absolutely believe in the product & the ideals behind it.

enjo do not believe in the hard sell. they stress throughout the initial training & the regular meetings that we are not to push people into buying something. when people see the benefits of the products they'll want to try them. i did.

they also do not try to brainwash you make you believe that your whole life is going to change & that you're going to become a millionaire by being an enjo consultant. there's a really good team spirit & lots of real encouragement, but there's no wanky mantras & no hard sell of books & tapes & all that garbage. there's a decided lack of materialism.

they don't teach you that you must turn every person you meet into an opportunity. in the multi-level marketing company which i was with a while ago, they encouraged you to think of every single person you knew & every single person you met as an opportunity to make more money. there's none of that here. you look after your customers & they can become your friends. they're not people to be used. they're people. period.

the ladies i've met who are in my team have all been really lovely people. everyone is very supportive of everyone else. there's a light-hearted competitiveness, but even that is barely there. when one consultant is doing particularly well, i've seen only pride from the other consultants & a desire to aspire to the same.

i've noticed something else rather interesting & different about the enjo team .. & you can read into it what you will. the multi-level marketing company was absolutely full of church goers. heaps of them. this company is almost the opposite. in fact, if i had to label them, i would call the people in it humanistic, in the way that they care about how we live & what happens to our planet by the way in which we live on it. the people are very earthy, not materialistic & are more into things like tarot, numerology, natural medicine, that sort of thing. as i said, you can read into that whatever you like. i just found it interesting.

there seems to be a very, very low attrition rate of consultants. i know with many party plan companies & multi-level marketing schemes heaps of people sign up & then give it up after a short time. from what i understand, many sign up with those companies only to get a discount on the products. with enjo you can only remain as an active consultant if you continue to have a certain (relatively low) turnover per month.

from what i've heard & experienced, enjo look after their consultants very well. they give great incentives to experience travel all over the world, as well as in your own country. for instance, many consultants just got back from a big meeting in south africa. depending on what you achieve over a set period of time, you get your travel & accomodation totally free, or else discounted to a level based on your achievements. they constantly give you little freebies with your orders & help you with any problems you have. i haven't heard a single bad word about enjo from any of the consultants i've spoken to, even the ones who've been with them for a long time.

in regard to the demos which i've been doing, i've had great feedback from not only my family & friends, but from people who i've never met before. i'm proud of the job i'm doing & i'm really enjoying it.

i think this is the beginning of something really good. *smile*
