falling asleep on the job - 09:35 AM

the funniest thing happened last night. i hope i can do it justice here, because it was hilarious when it happened.

smiley likes to play with the gap under the laundry door. i'm not sure what the appeal is, but since he's been mobile, he's gone down the end of the hall, lay on his tummy on the floor there, looked through the gap, put his hands under it, made noises to it, etc. that's even kind of funny on its own.

yesterday, in the early evening, he was playing down there & it went quiet. when you can hear a kid, you know everything's okay, but when everything goes quiet you wonder what's up. i walked down the hall to see what he was doing. he was fine. he was just playing as he usually does.

about five minutes later, i noticed it had gone quiet again. i listened for a few seconds but couldn't hear any noise at all.

i tiptoed down the hall (as you do .. because if they're doing anything naughty &/or funny, you want to catch them at, don't you? lol! *chuckle* ) & saw him lying there on the floor, motionless. i had a small panic until i put my hand on his back & found that he was breathing.

i had to then tiptoe back up the hall really quickly while holding my hand over my mouth & doubled over with my other hand on my gut because i was almost in pain from trying to stifle my laughing. he'd fallen asleep, mid-play, splayed out on the floor on his tummy!

once i composed myself i went back down the hall to collect him & move him to somewhere a little more comfortable to sleep than on the cold, hard lino floor.

i would have taken a photo except that it was too dark & the flash might have woken him. besides, it just wouldn't have captured the moment. oh man .. but it was so funny!

It seems that a pic is in order next time *wink*
I find it remarkable you managed not to burst out in laughter there and then *smile*

I remember once coming in my my baby playing so quietly on the floor, I was amazed. Then I took a closer look, sound asleep she was, sitting up straight as a poker. Wish I had a camera for that one!

Hi, My name is Sandy and I live in Sydney. Australia. I am thinking of becoming an Enjo consultant. I have been visitied by the area manager and now I only need to make a decision. Are you still a consultant? I love the product. I am wondering if you can give me any tips or shortcuts that you wish that you may have known before you started. Every little bit of info would help me make a decision to start this project. I am a single mum hoping to support my two boys with this new business venture. I live in a country town with 48,000. So far their are 3 Enjo reps, one of them has been doing it for 4 years the other 2 have just been trained.
I hope you can help me and tell me of your experience as an Enjo demonstrator.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Sandy.
