tinyurl - http://www.tinyurl.com/ this is brilliant. if you've ever had to send (or receive) a long link via email, you may have noticed that some email clients split it up over more than one line, meaning you can't simply click on the link, you have to cut & paste it back together. using tinyurl, you paste your original link into the box & it turns it into a little baby-sized url which won't go over more than one line. it's particularly handy for urls for items at amazon.com or for news links.
