ferrousland.com - frequented links
online places i visit or check on a daily basis. many of the journal or blog type people linked here i consider to be friends, as i've met them in real life &/or email with them on a regular basis (they're also listed in the friends links), others i don't know personally, but i find them to be funny or excellent writers. most links are journal or blog type sites, but some are commerical sites.
if you're on my frequented links, but not my friends links & am thinking that surely i do consider you to be a friend, don't be offended, it's just my sometimes insecurity showing through. ![]()

irony central -
http://www.ironycentral.com/
this is a journal/article/personal site by a guy called jeff vogel, a professional computer game designer and freelance writer.
almost everything he writes is rather amusing, but i check back mainly to see the regular stories all about his adventures into fatherhood from day one. the stories about his daughter, especially when she was just a baby, are not for the faint-hearted or squeamish. he can be rather, hmm, how do i put it .. descriptive.

this guy has everything on his site. daniel is from melbourne, one of the cooler places to live (meteorologically speaking, as well as metaphorically) & is one of the few people who discovered the internet before it was called the 'information superhighway'.
his site has almost anything you can think of to waste your time at, including a rather amusing guide to australia.

shauny writes really well & is quite amusing. hailing from canberra originally, she's currently in scotland with her sister, doing the typical young australian's 'working abroad for a couple of years' thing.

Follow the lives of a male nurse and beloved dad, a strict but understanding stay at home mom, a gifted male teen with ADHD, a beautiful preteen girl with ADD, and a miniature boy genius who is forced to live with them all!"
