thanks to jade for showing me where to find the plugin, i now have the most recent diary entries showing in the column to the left .. i mean right. it's late. i'm tired.
thank to jade not only for that, mind you, but for giving me bucketloads (& i really mean bucketloads!) of help setting up movable type (otherwise known as mt) which is how this newest version my site is being run. mt will make it really easy for me to update my site once rudegere is born. i imagine i'll not have heaps of time to be ftp'ing (uploading) this & that all over the place as i had to before. i was going to write it all in php but hey, why reinvent the wheel?
i also had lots of help from melanie & soltan also gave me a hand with an issue i had.
thanks, everyone. you're all legends, especially jade.
