i have the ultrasound tomorrow at 10am. i have to finish 600ml of water (although the lady who i spoke to when i made the appointment said clear liquid, so maybe cordial will be okay, too) an hour before the appointment. i hope they're not running late in the morning because i'll be busting by 10am. on the bit of paper it says a 'moderately full bladder is usually required'. i'd count 600ml of water sitting in my bladder for more than an hour to be more than moderately full.

heh.. you'd think so, wouldn't you.. but I actually went looking for some info about the capacity of the bladder a while back because I was curious about it after I had a catheter when Stephanie was born and had 1.5 litres drained out of me in about an hour and a half.. I remember finding info that indicated that the bladder can hold quite a bit more than that.. though I wouldn't want to experience it!!
