i'm just listening to 'bohemian rhadsody' by queen. what a great song. i've never gone out of my way to listen to queen, but whenever i hear any of their songs, i can't help but appreciate their musical brilliance. freddy mercury had the most amazing singing voice. it's a shame he's not with us anymore. queen were so far ahead of their time.

i think they're timeless, more than 'ahead of their time'. because people thought they were great back when and still think that they're great. i agree that it's a shame that freddie mercury is no longer here. i would have liked to have actually known who he was while he was alive.
as an aside, though, on the 'a knight's tale' soundtrack there are some lovely versions of the queen songs with robbie williams singing the lead. as good as the originals, i reckon.

yes, they were great. even their development of music for Flash Gordon was good. better than the movie i have to admit.
