broken .. again - 06:31 AM

my computer died again yesterday, just for something different (did you catch the sarcasm there?) so i haven't been able to check email. i've been using shroom's computer to make these updates.
i tried rebuilding it last night, but it seems my cd rom wasn't up to the task & kept throwing read errors every ten minutes or so, making me take the disc out then put it back in again to get it to read properly. it would have taken all night, sitting in front of it, nursing it through every step of the process so i gave up. shroom's going to track down another cd drive for me today so i guess i'll try again tonight. in the meantime, at least i'm getting a bit of house stuff done, not that it wasn't my first priority anyway.
so if you're wondering why i haven't replied to an email you may have sent me, that's why.
Note to self, proof-read before posting next time! sorry ! sand should be replaced with wand!talk about unconsious mutterings! must have been a slip of the fingers!

why won't computers just work autonomously for an infinate amount of time? then we'd all be much happier and healthier!my little bro went on a "uninstall" rampage and ended up deleting a few things he shouldn't have consequently explorer won't work nor will java, but i'm running it in safemode at the moment and i've been able to check my e-mail, through dodgy methods. Grrr! don't you wish you had a sand like Harry Potter and could just wave it and your puter would be fixed! I do!!.
