leg lifting - 10:29 AM

mcgarnicle has always squatted to pee, for as long as we've had him. since we've come to our new place, he's begun to lift his leg & is actually peeing against things, like trees & fence posts & the like. it's the first time we've ever seen him do it that way. i wonder if, with the much larger space to run around in, he feels more like a man now & has decided to pee like other boy dogs do.

i mentioned a few days ago that my computer was dying. i was going to send the hard drive to work with shroom so he could make a ghost copy of it for me, but he ended up taking the day off on monday (& a very well deserved day off, too) so it didn't get done. then on tuesday i forgot to give it to him. last night it kicked the bucket for good it seems.
when i woke up this morning i noticed it was switched off. last time it was off was when it was making funny noises & shroom turned it off. same deal this time, except when i turned it on again, the noises it was making were worse. i don't think there's much chance of getting a ghost copy of it, so i may have to rebuild it from scratch again. what a pain in the bum. oh well. nothing like starting fresh .. for the fifth time in about as many months. 
i'm doing this on shroom's computer, but i won't have access to my email until i get mine up & running again. hopefully that'll be tonight.
