the car just came back from the smash repairs place after having the side mirror & three panels fixed from when the kangaroo decided to remodel it. i'm picking up dad & tosca from the airport on monday & he'll be taking his car back, after i've been driving it for more than a year.
i was thinking what a pain in the bum it was going to be to crawl around on the inside trying to give it a good clean before handing it back. it's an awkward enough job to do without a huge pregnant belly & no stomach muscles. then i'd have to wash the outside of it too. they drove it into the driveway for me & he pointed out that they'd given it a bit of a polish. after he said that, i realised that yes, indeed, it was pretty darn shiny. he then said that the inside was cleaned up as well. yes!! man, these guys rule!
that is going to save me a whole day's work, i reckon. i would have had to do it really slowly & probably taken three naps between stints too, as well as nursing my newly-sore back. what a huge load off my mind. *phew!*
