presents for rudegere - 08:19 PM

i checked my post office box today & found two lovely gifts for rudegere. one is from the baby registry (you can find a permanent link to it in the 'about' section under 'rudedgere'), this item, a kind of play mat with cool stuff on it. i tested it out a few minutes ago .. just to make sure it was safe for rudegere, of course, not because i wanted to play with it you understand. 
it has a sun with a mirror under it hanging from the two arch things, as well as a flower with a bee & a lady bug with little chewy (teething) wing things. all of these can be taken off & there are other little hangy bits where you can hang other items if you wish. on the mat itself is a sun which can hide behind a cloud, a star behind a moon, & a frog under a lilly pad. *chuckle* .. very cool.
the other thing in the post office box was the most gorgeous little toy tiger. he is so soft & fluffy, i could hardly stop touching him. on the way home in the car i was playing with him & making growly noises at shroom as though the tiger was doing them & moving his paw as though he was swiping at the air. hehehe.
both toys are for rudegere, of course, but a responsible parent always has to check the suitablility of any toy that is for their child. *grin* 
i haven't mentioned who the gifts are from, just in case they'd prefer to remain anonymous, but thank you very much to the two of you for the lovely gifts. they really are very nice.
