grumble, mumble, bleah, ergh - 07:13 AM

i had just about the worst sleep last night that i've ever had in my whole life. stupid nose was all blocked up, giving me a massive sinus headache. if i stayed lying on one side then one side of my head & nose would clear a bit, but then if i rolled over my nose would run on the other side & i'd have to find the tissues sitting beside the bed & blow my nose & sniff & snuffle until the new side cleared a bit. just to add to that, every time i even thought about rolling over i'd get a braxton hicks contraction. they don't hurt, but they're getting stronger lately & i can feel them affect my breathing.
my back has been killing me all night & i reckon that maybe i got one solid hour of sleep, if i was lucky. poor shroom didn't fare so well either, what with me tossing & turning & snorting & snuffling & coughing up a lung or two all night.
finally i got up at 6am to have a hot shower to try to clear my head & make my back feel a bit better. it might have helped a bit, but they're both still sore. i had some more lemon & honey drink too & had some honey, straight. i might have more honey now, actually. it soothes my throat nicely.
yeah, i know .. whinge, whinge, whinge. i just hate being sick.
