my cold is going away, i think. my prediction (including some positive thinking 
) is that tomorrow i will feel totally better.
last night i went to bed at about 8pm. really early, even for a pregnant chick. i was so tired. i guess after having such a shocking sleep the night before, i really needed the sleep because, aside from waking up two or three times to go to the toilet, i slept pretty much straight through until 7am. eleven hours sleep! oh, it was so good.
even my hands behaved themselves. usually the carpal tunnel syndrome, combined with the swelling from retaining water, makes my hands very sore & stiff at night. during the night they can ache so badly if i don't have them positioned just right that the pain wakes me up. last night though, i was able to sleep with one hand tucked under the edge of my pillow, which would normally last about three minutes, but last night when i woke to roll over i'd stayed in that position for hours at a time. i haven't been able to do that with my hands for months now.
it could be a good sign that the carpal tunnel is beginning to ease, but i won't tempt fate by saying that it is going away. as i've been placating myself previously when suffering from one pregnacny induced thing or another, as with all of them, it will pass (she says while adopting a yogi stance & looking serenely inwards). it's all i have to hang onto & it works for me. lol! 
really though, i'm still loving being pregnant.
after all that sleep last night, i felt a hell of a lot better today. my cold seems to have moved from my head to my chest, which is a good thing, because even though the coughing gives me a braxton hicks contraction every time, i can deal with that a lot better than having a head cold & the horrible sinus headache which goes with it.
so the plan for tomorrow is that i will feel all better & i can continue doing important things such as getting the house together, ready for when rudegere decides to arrive.
