i bought an electric breast pump when i did all the baby shopping, with the plan that i can express some milk after a number of weeks allowing shroom to feed the baby sometimes.
i just tested it out on my hand ..
.. eep!
umm .. it kind of scares me. 
.. even the instructions are scary: "5. Turn the suction control knob clockwise until the suction pulls the nipple into the throat of the funnel." argh!!
at least i'll be used to the baby sucking on me by the time that i plan to use it. perhaps it won't seem quite so scary by then.
LOL.....oh just wait untill you latch that thang on!! LOL....youll know what a cow feels like in the milk line...dont try it on the highest setting first.
Scary! I used a manual pump and that was scary when I first used it, watching my nipple get sucked into it! Once you figure it out it will be sweet though.

breast pumps are scary full stop!. I once walked in on someone using one and it sounded like a duck quacking!!. It was very embarrasing for both parties involved! I was in shock at the time so all I could do was laugh!
