i was just talking to my friend dj & i asked him, "what's it like .. having kids?" his first paragraph in answer was so beautifully put:
"it's full of joy, sorrow, pain, love, excitement, disappointment. you feel each accomplishment, every skinned knee, you understand being afraid of the dark all over again."

I saw the Rove interview with Russle Crowe this week, who was asked "What do you want your child to have the most of" and his response was "me".

i got daniel a father's day card the other day. on the front it says: "on father's day, remember that parenthood can be full of little challenges..." and the on the inside it says "happy father's day from one of them!"
i thought that was a clever thing to say about it
