i've taken some pics of the house for you to see, now that it's finally in a state ready to show other people. it has been kind of ready for a while, but the final thing i wanted to do was get the cot into the baby's room & make it up ready to take the pics. go here to see them, or else use the personal category link under the photolog section in the menu to the right.
well rested & (relatively) energetic - 10:24 AM

i had the best sleep last night that i've had for a really long time .. read: since i became pregnant. i still got up a few times to go to the loo & i still had to wake myself completely just to roll over (accompanied by the usual grunts & grumbles & the final, satisfied "ahhhh" when i made it over to the other side) but the actual sleeping time in between was glorious!
i didn't wake up when shroom came to bed after i'd already been asleep for a while. i didn't wake up to shroom's vain efforts to stop my snoring (he asked me if my left arm was bruised this morning. i said that he should have just rolled me over & he got this big smile on his face & said, "have you ever tried to roll over a pregnant women??!" very good point. 
). i didn't even wake up at 6am & lie there for an hour wondering if i was eventually going to fall back to sleep.
in other words, i slept like the proverbial log that seems to have a reputation of sleeping really well. i've been awake for a whole three hours & i feel as though i still have some energy left. amazing!
