i found some older pics of the house before we had the paint job done & moved in, which i've now put in the photolog. you can compare the old to the new if you like. to open them side by side in separate windows for a really good comparison, just hold down 'shift' as you click each link.

my friend, dave, said to me in an email the other day, "the greatest gift you will give your child (other than life itself) is your outlook on things. it has affected me so much i can almost imagine its affect on him/her."
i thought that was so sweet of him to say that. i try to have a positive outlook on life, but usually i just put it down to being 'dumbly happy'. *chuckle* 
.. it is a good way to be, really. i do hope that our baby picks up that outlook.
so thanks, dave. i thought that was lovely of you to say that to me. it really made my day.
