what a lovely thing to say - 10:32 AM

my friend, dave, said to me in an email the other day, "the greatest gift you will give your child (other than life itself) is your outlook on things. it has affected me so much i can almost imagine its affect on him/her."

i thought that was so sweet of him to say that. i try to have a positive outlook on life, but usually i just put it down to being 'dumbly happy'. *chuckle* *chuckle* .. it is a good way to be, really. i do hope that our baby picks up that outlook.

so thanks, dave. i thought that was lovely of you to say that to me. it really made my day. *smile*

That IS really nice!.My Grandma is like that, never moans or groans like 98.3% of people her age do.I wonder if that's where I got my jolly side from.According to my Mum my dad is negative, so I guess I have him to blame for my bad characteristics!.Seriously though, I think being around happy positive people does effect children's outlook on life. Your very lucky to be such a breath of freash air. I hope I get rid of my narkiness by the time I have kiddies.
