these days, every time i call shroom at work & the call is diverted through to the switchboard if he's on the phone or away from his desk, they always ask, "you're not, are you??" wondering if i'm calling to tell him i'm going into labour.
he said he's already tired of them asking him every day if i've had the kid yet. he reckons he's not going to tell them when it does happen & eventually someone will realise that i'd be about fifty-three weeks pregnant & that i must surely have popped by then. he's a cheeky boy. *chuckle*

it will only get worse. as you get closer, people won't just ask you if they happen to see/talk to you, they'll start ringing you to ask.
can't you call him direct, or do you have to go to the switchboard?
