riley's first night at home was .. hmm .. hard. there was lots of crying, he cried too, but we both made it through to the morning alive & well, even if just a little bit more tired than before.

He'll settle down. I hope you're resting as much as possible during the day to make up for being up at night. You'll both find a routine of sorts, until he changes it without prior notice!

I remember those first nights of mine and the babies crying. Just know that it will get better. A good thing to do is to wake Dad when it gets too bad so he can take over and you can get an hour or two of sleep or just have a cup of tea or something to calm down. Believe me he will be happy to take over for a while rather than have you pulling your hair out. And remember your hormones are crazy right now.
