i've updated the online baby shower page to show my preference of shaped nappy if you were one of those wanting to buy a practical gift for riley. the practical gift of a nappy or two really is my preference, since you know that they'll definitely get lots of use.

i'm slowly getting through the email from you all. there are so many! if it's approriate, i've replied, but mostly with just a short 'thank you' so please don't be offended if you don't receive the usual long-winded reply (no one has been offended yet, i'm just apologising in advance).

i really appreciate all the beautiful emails & comments, but i sort of have my hands full at the moment. i'm sure you understand. you will get a reply but it's just taking while to get through them all.

riley's first night at home was .. hmm .. hard. there was lots of crying, he cried too, but we both made it through to the morning alive & well, even if just a little bit more tired than before.
