i've added a new link to the environment category. it's one for the girls, moon pads.

guys, you can read about them too, but i'd better warn you that it might be more information than you really want to know. whenever i talk about girlie things like that to shroom, he's always one short step away from covering his ears & crying out, "not listening! not listening!" *chuckle*

yay! it's raining! it's been so dry out here lately. it hasn't rained for ages, everything looks brown & the fire danger warnings were on the second most severe. it's a really solid rain, too. *yay!*

for such a simple concept, press studs are remarkably difficult to operate at 3am when you're rather tired from not having had a nap earlier the previous day.

there's a juvenile magpie having a shower in the sprinkler outlet of our grey water, the sullage. i'm hope his mum & dad don't mind the smell. i can smell the water from here. he's going to be really smelly after that bath!
