a magpie was just outside on the porch trying to peck at an electrical extension cord rolled up & lying on the table. it's about five or more metres long. good luck trying to take that back to the nest! *chuckle*

perhaps mrs magpie wanted the nest's fridge moved and the outlet was too far.
