But seriously though, reading other peoples blogs and getting to know them somewhat makes the world seem a little smaller. I learn a lot about other countries and attitudes. I guess it also goes along with the reality tv syndrome that is going around.

ok, so i found you right before you turned your hair pink for ( strangly enough ) leukemia, like over 2 years ago, and have been coming back because that was something i would have done, and i respected you for it. Your alot like me, and we are the same age, and im sure we have lots of things in common.Our chickens look alot alike....LOL, and we both love our kid and our man, so i guess ive found my equal, in being the absolute coolest chick ever!! So let me know when you start canning your own veggies, i made Kinder's own baby-food, when she was younger ( 15 years ago ) its easy, and tastes way better than the stuff from the store..ok, ill shut up now...LOL

Our whole family has been visiting your site for a long time now, it's part of our day. I agree with what someone said about it being almost like going to your house for a cuppa and a chat. Personally, I love the perspective you put on things. Your sense of humour helps. Although we've never met you face to face, we consider you a friend.

I read numerous online journals and diaries when I get a chance. I can honestly say that I'm hooked on yours, Melanie's, and Jade's. I can easily imagine wanting to hang out with you guys if I lived in Brisbane. You're fun to read, and likely more fun in person.

Your life is interesting.

I've been fighting depression for almost 3 years. I lost my best friend when I got married (long story) and I think that's a big reason why. But ever since I've been reading your blog (among 1 other favorite) I'm starting to enjoy my own life more. I'm smiling and laughing more because I'm not taking myself so seriously. Because I laugh when you aren't... and I found out how much I truly enjoy that.

I've always loved your honesty and "listening" to the way you see the world. You always come across as a very sweet and caring person, but a real person all the same.

And like Jillis said, it's the next best thing to coming over for coffee. It's a pity NZ and OZ weren't just a short ferry ride apart!

Initially I found your site because I was searching for pictures of eyebrow piercings (i ended up getting one) then once I'd read one entry I was hooked, and that was over two years ago now I think... I stuck around and check your site whenever i am online now (which isn't as often as it used to be) because you are an honest and forthright person, you speak your mind and speak up for what you believe in, and from what I've read you stay true to your word which are all things that i admire in a person. Now you are doing things that I would, in a way, like to be doing and in the same manor that I hope to... one day
