bloody flies! - 08:05 PM

bloody flies! that's what i've been saying a lot this last week. they've appeared for the summer with a vengeance & are so very annoying (& filthy & gross) as they always are. however, this year we have a baby who sleeps with his mouth open, so i particularly don't want them on or near him. so i've ordered an environmentally friendly fly trap. apparently it can attract flies from up to two kilometres away. the idea is that you set it a bit away from the area where you want them to go away from. they crawl down into it & die .. muahahahaha! die, flies, die!!

let's hope it works as well as they say it does. it looks pretty good .. now, if only we could find something similar for the god-knows-now-many funnell web spiders around our property. *hmmm*

Do you sometimes feel like you are talking to the air, when no one makes comments??

Die flies!! Hey! do a chant for me too.. Die ants!!!
I'd type more, but I spilled Coke on my keyboard and the keys are sticking. Especially the s. When you wouldn't know how often you use it until its gone... *sad*

gee...spilling coke on one's keyboard should serve the same purpose as the fly trap. you are getting a mite gory real girl; "die flies die". hmmm!! a chant is a good idea. try the old disco song "fly robin fly" as a background. that'll work.

Have you thought about getting one of those nets to put over his cot or your bed, that would be cool, for those times when it`s not hot enought to use the air con.It would also keep the mozzies away. I don`t hink they have flies in Japan. Haven`t see any. Which is good, coz I really don@t like them, then again

i wonder if the chickens could help you with the spider situation? I know our chickens eat everythang that moves, but then again, we dont have a spider problem either. things that make you go, hmmmmmmmmm???

I thought the flies were bad enough but the spiders as well, At least here in the UK we only have to battle flies and wasps!!!. (I know I have a tarantula but that is safely behind glass with a door stop weight on the top of the cage in my sons bedroom, at least if it does escape he will eat my son first lol)
