in a few hours we're going home. i've had such a lovely visit with my dad & his wife, tosca. they both visibly enjoyed having riley here, especially tosca, i think. she's been so great with him. he just adores hearing her sing & she got him to sleep on many an occasion singing him lovely songs. as short as his memory supposedly is, i think he'll miss her for at least that long. i know she'll miss him terribly. i won't be surprised if she gets teary at the airport saying goodbye to him.
i'll see you all at home.
