toilet frog lives on - 10:04 PM

well, we thought for a minute or two that our toilet frog was a goner. shroom just flushed the toilet & as he did the toilet frog jumped down from under the rim into the turbulent waters. turns out he's okay though. since it was only a half flush, there wasn't enough force to push him very far. shroom saw him reappear for a second from the u-bend until he spotted shroom watching then went back in. if he can get that far though, hopefully he can climb back out to go back into the cistern.
yes, he is a bit annoying when he croaks so loudly, but we've kind of got used to having him there telling us when it's going to rain.

they're laying! there are two eggs! i think one from each of two chooks because they were in two different nesting boxes. one is so fresh that it's still warm!
