sleeping through? - 09:53 PM

smiley (riley smiley, that is) has slept through the night about three times. i'm hoping that i can help him make that a habit. he was fast asleep in his bouncy seat & i was thinking that perhaps i'd wake him & try to give him a feed just before i go to bed. no need to wake him now though, as he just woke up anyway. i'll try to make his last feed as late as possible & try to stop him falling asleep on the boob too soon, in the hopes that he might sleep all the way through the night. 'sleeping through' has only been until about 5 or 5:30am, but not having to wake up at 2 or 3am for a feed makes a huge difference.

riley's been blowing lots of spit bubbles the last half a week or so. he's been drooling too. this is a new thing i thought i'd tell you about. i know it's not all that exciting, but hey, it's a record for me to remember some of these things, even if you don't care so much.

wow. that was a really special vomit. riley got it around his mouth, on his bib, down his arm, all over the vomit rag, on my sleeve, down my arm, on the arm of the chair, on my jeans leg, on the seat of the chair & even a drip on the floor. well done, riley!
