i'm so terrible! i just made riley cry. i was lifting him out of his bouncy seat & i accidentally made us head butt each other. he only cried for a few seconds, & i gave him a big cuddle straight away, but still, i feel so bad! i almost cried too. *sad*

if you haven't already noticed, i've added categories for news items on the front page here. i don't yet have a page where you can access all the items in a category on the one page, but that'll come soon. in the meantime, if you open up a news item on its own (by clicking on the heading or the comments link) then you'll see that you can navigate by category as well as by date, so you can browse through the category of your choice one news item at a time.

there's a new diary entry up. i called it mum & mum & son. it's one of the first times i've called riley my 'son'. wow. he's my son. i have a son. how trippy .. *chuckle* *chuckle*
