homeschooling - 09:12 PM

does anyone have any (educated) opinions on homeschooling? i don't know an awful lot about it yet, but i like the idea of it. i didn't necessarily hate going to school, but i can see how i would have benefitted from a homeschooling system. it seems there's a lot of learning time actually wasted by attending a traditional schooling environment.
does anyone know much about it or had any experience with it?

yay! the new style of ezy nappies have arrived! woo hoo! i have only one of the new style so far, which was a prototype that they sent me on which i could then give them feedback. i can't wait to get the new ones. 
fighting sleep - 10:13 AM

smiley's going through a stage over the last day or so where he's very tired, but fights sleep & whinges for about fifteen minutes to half an hour. it must be that, because he yawns & yawns & his eyelids get droopy. he doesn't want to feed, he doesn't have air in his belly, his nappy is dry .. so the only thing left is that he's tired but he doesn't want to sleep. i'm guessing this will only continue, as i know that kids so often don't want to miss out on the action going on around them.
he's finally dropped off to sleep on my shoulder in the sling. bless the sling.
