in answer to a comment or two below, i wasn't named after my aunty coral, or a nurse or anything like that. i used to think that i was named after a lady who helped to look after mum when she was pregnant with me, but it turns out that i was named after a lady my dad liked the look of .. heh!
so i was named after a pretty lady .. i guess that's a compliment, especially considering that i have it on good authority that as a newborn i looked like a toad! rotfl!!!

mum's coming to visit in about half an hour. she's on school holidays (she's a teacher) so she's got quite a few weeks off. she's bringing a dvd with her that we can watch. it'll be nice to have a visit from her. i'm quite enjoying my mum's company these days.
